General Contracting – Site Work and Demolition
Heliport Aviation Site - GC
For this project our team removed the existing underground storage tank and product lines associated with a remote fueling cabinet. Hoosier then teamed with a local concrete company and electrician to prepare the area to receive the facility’s new 12k AST. The concrete pad was heavily reinforced and poured 18” thick. The electrician ran new conduit from the AST area back to the main facility to support electrical functionality of the new fuel system, card reader and Veeder Root communication. Appropriate signage, spill response equipment, and site security measures were also provided and installed as part of the contract.
Private Client
Hoosier completed bank restoration activities which included reconstruction of approximately 120 LF of creek bank. The Hoosier team imported clay backfill to reconstruct the sub-base of the sidewall and keyed-in gabion baskets 2’ below the active creek. Restoration efforts continued by reshaping the creek bed and opposite bank using a geotextile and Rip-Rap.
Public Client - Demolition
Hoosier Equipment was contracted to perform demolition and site restoration activities to several aged industrial buildings on a state owned property. The buildings were dilapidated and beginning to pose safety concerns. There were a total of 7 buildings ranging in size from 1,000 – 13,000 square feet. Hoosier also performed remediation work associated with the removal of existing UST’s and ACM abatement prior to safely demolishing the structures.
Private Client – Demolition
Hoosier Equipment was contracted to demolish multiple residential structures on behalf of an environmental consulting/engineering firm. A local manufacturing company had acquired several parcels as they continued to expand operations and these structures were removed to accommodate this growth.
